On the north side encompassed by Velebit channel, on the south by Grgur channel, and on the west by “portus Senia” and Baščanska draga. A distance between a lighthouse Stražica and Baška on the island of Krk is two nautical miles. A lighthouse facility is a medium size single story house made of stone from which rises a tower of the lighting device incorporated in the walls of a facade. A size of a ground floor is139 square meters. There is a fenced yard laid with paving stone. Electric generating unit is supplying electricity and there is also a water storage tank. Near the facility is a medium size pier for accommodating vessels. There have been numerous stories and anecdotes repeated over and over again about a lighthouse and the surrounding due to the influence of a limy slag deposits formed on the natural environment creating an exotic atmosphere. Extensive aggregations of giltheads often occur in autumn in the sea around a rock nearby the lighthouse, and a rocky seafloor and strong sea currents represent natural protection from over fishing.
