Valić, dedicated to the Croatian commemorative stamp "29 October 1918" - the drawing of the slave is by Rudolf Sabljak and the frame with national ornaments is by Rudolf Valić This year the Croatian Post and Telecommunications will mark the Stamp Day by issuing special stamps to commemorate two significant days in the history of the Croatian Post: 9 September was chosen as a Stamp Day to mark the issuing of the first regular postage stamp of the Republic of Croatia in 1991. The motif on this special stamp is based upon the original drawing for another special stamp that was issued a month after the decision of the Croatian Parliament to break all legal and government connections with the Austro-Hungarian Empire (the stamp was issued in various nominal values and slightly altered shape on 29 November 1918) The stamp was printed in sheets of 20 pieces each. HPT issued a first day cover (FDC) and a commemorative sheet.
