Croatia will be presented by the unique exhibit. The Croatian pavilion, the work of architect Branko Silađin, a unique form, with water permanently lapping against it - is a symbolic foundation of life on Earth.
The Croatian Post issued First Day Cover (FDC). The souvenir sheet is dedicated to the second participation of the Republic of Croatia at the World Exposition EXPO to be held in Hannover this year, from June 1 to October 31. Croatia will be presented by the unique exhibit. The Croatian pavilion, the work of architect Branko Silađin, a unique form, with water permanently lapping against it - is a symbolic foundation of life on Earth. The pavilion offers the Croatian response to the exhibition theme "Man, nature, technology", and that is the belief that there is a possibility of adequate cohabitation among the unavoidable technology, preserved nature and the man. A circular projection of 360°, an attractive diaprojection, with a choice selection of works of Croatian artists, should offer the visitor, walking on the glass floor, with an evocation of the diversity of the Croatian land underneath his feet, the sea, Karst, green landscapes and fertile arable land, an experience that would stimulate his wish to get to know Croatia better.
